PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Our customer is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system and creating a world of mobility that is better for business, society, and the environment.

The team that you will be part of collects data for all connected vehicles and aggregates it so that drivers can evaluate their own driving behaviors and skills.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and inform business decisions through data insights
• Build and maintain data analytics solutions using Snowflake, delivering value-driven results to the organization in a data mesh architecture
• Establish data quality and integrity standards, ensuring accurate and reliable data across the organization

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience with data modeling techniques: data warehousing, data lakes, data architecture
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience working with Python for data transformation and data pipelines
• Experience developing and maintaining data analytics solutions using Snowflake or other cloud-based platforms – Redshift, Databricks, Synapse Analytics
• Familiarity of AWS services like S3, RDS, IAM, Networking
• Familiarity with query optimization, query execution plans, indexes, data distribution, partitioning
