THE ROLE INVOLVES:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our partner’s Reconciliation and Control team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate development and implementation of applications. Your expertise will be essential in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Mendix applications that align with business requirements and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality applications using Mendix to meet business requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications running on Mendix 9, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to translate requirements into functional applications.
• Support and guide the team in their DevOps transformation, transitioning from VM-based deployments to containerized environments.
• Optimize application workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and reliable application performance.
• Stay up to date with Mendix advancements, continuously improving application development strategies.

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mendix Developer.
• Experience with version control tools like GIT.
• Familiarity with Java for Mendix custom Java actions is a plus.
• Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is a plus.
• Experience in test automation for Mendix applications (e.g., Selenium, Mendix ATS, or similar tools) is nice to have, willingness to learn is appreciated.

NICE TO HAVE: 

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
• A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects.
• Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation.
• Understanding of financial services and risk management in general.
• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong engineering instinct (do the right thing), a deep understanding of computer science.
• Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills, great team member.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
