THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Within ABN AMRO IT Services Romania S.R.L. we're building on the future of talent for ABN AMRO Clearing.
As full subsidiary we focus on finding the best talent in the market and build the best IT applications & platforms possible.
You would join our local HR department and report to our HR Director Romania, supporting with day-to-day operational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding Support: assist in welcoming new employees, helping them integrate smoothly into the organization.
- Administrative Support for Travel: handle documentation such as expense reports, travel-related paperwork, and reimbursements.
- Health & Safety Assistance: contribute to compliance efforts and support emergency procedure protocols.
- Employee Support: respond to employee queries (e.g., statement requests, general guidance) and direct them to the appropriate resources when needed.
- Benefits Coordination: work closely with employee benefits providers and HR systems to ensure smooth and timely delivery of benefits-related services.
- Supplier Relations: build and maintain positive interactions with office suppliers and service providers.
- Events & Logistics: provide organizational and administrative support for internal and external events, workshops, and initiatives.
- Office Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the office environment.
- Data Management: enter and maintain employee records in HR and administrative systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Additional Duties: take on other administrative and HR-related tasks as required, supporting the team’s needs and gaining exposure to the HR function.
TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:
- Experience: 1–3 years in office administration, operations, or a similar support role; prior experience in an international or multicultural environment is a plus.
- Technical Skills: strong knowledge of MS Office and administrative tools; comfortable handling data and documentation.
- Communication: excellent English skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Organization & Problem-Solving: strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Adaptability: curious, proactive, and eager to learn HR processes in a dynamic environment.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Basic knowledge of local labor law, policies, and procedures.
- University degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
- HR or administrative certifications (e.g., Human Inspector Certification) are a plus.
SOFT SKILLS:
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in communication.
- A growth-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in developing towards an HR role.
