Data Engineering - Students Summer Practice Program

JOIN OUR DATA ENGINEERING SUMMER PRACTICE PROGRAM @ LEVI9 IASI

This summer practice program offers university students a structured, hands-on introduction to the field of Data Engineering, covering everything from understanding how modern data platforms are architected to building and orchestrating real ELT pipelines.

Students will gain practical experience with the full data engineering stack: data modelling, SQL transformations with dbt, pipeline orchestration with Apache Airflow, streaming concepts with Kafka. The program emphasizes real-world engineering practices, version control, team collaboration, and architectural thinking, so that students don't just learn tools, but develop the mindset of a working data engineer.

The program is specifically designed for active Computer Science students in Iasi.

PRACTICE PROGRAM SUMMARY:

  • 4 hours/day, total of 180 hours

  • Expected start date: July 2026

  • Hybrid way of working

PREREQUISITES:

  • Good English (both in speaking and writing)

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new things

  • Basic Python knowledge

  • Basic SQL knowledge

  • Team player

  • Interested in covering the academical practice request with the support of Levi9 team
