PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

You’ll be involved in a FinTech project focused on mortgage solutions and financial services platforms. The project supports the transformation of mortgage processes through cloud-based technology, business rule automation, data processing, and system integrations.

We are looking for a Test Consultant with experience in mortgage or banking solutions who enjoys combining business understanding, logical thinking, and testing expertise to deliver high-quality financial software solutions.

The role combines business analysis, testing, and low-code/no-code implementation responsibilities. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and implementation specialists to translate mortgage and banking requirements into structured business rules and domain-specific logic.

The position is split between two main areas:

• Mid-office activities, with a focus on business rules, decision logic, and translating mortgage-related requirements into clear rule structures.

• Back-office activities, with a focus on data processing, integrations, validations, and operational flows.

You will use the customer's in-house development tool to translate business logic into a domain-specific language, working with structures such as conditions, rules, validations, and if/then/else logic.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Translating mortgage and banking requirements into business rules and configurable solutions.

• Working with our customer's in-house development tool to implement and validate business logic using domain-specific language (DSL).

• Defining and executing functional and business-rule test scenarios.

• Supporting mortgage processes, customer journeys, data processing, and system integrations.

• Collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Creating and maintaining documentation related to requirements, business rules, and testing activities.

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• Experience in banking, mortgages, financial services, or FinTech

• Experience as a Test Consultant, Functional Tester, Business Analyst, or Implementation Consultant

• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into logical structures and business rules

• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, configuration-driven solutions, or rule engines

• Strong understanding of functional testing and business process validation

• Experience working with data processing, integrations, or back-office systems

• Familiarity with APIs, JSON/XML, or system integrations

• Experience working in Agile environments

NICE TO HAVE: 

• Experience with mortgage origination or servicing platforms

• Exposure to SaaS solutions within the financial services industry

• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking or mortgage domains

• Experience in system implementation or digital transformation projects
